The sound from the Dac can be verrrrry transparent on good processed audio. I use MDR 10rc with Iphone 6 and Iphone 4, and HIFI at home with either iphone or mac as source. And if the source is grainy, NLMeans jacked all the way up with Unsharp maxed. With audio passthrough and stripping extra tracks, I often get a result 1/91/10 of source. Sample rate:48000 hz (you should check for yourself if upscaling or 44.1 is the best. As previously stated, there is no single correct answer, but I've found that 265-10bit RQ23 same FR as source veryslow tends to be at the edge of noticing visual degradation. RF 22-p 4K Ultra High Definition4 Recommended settings for the SVT-AV1encoder: 1. VBR Constrained (you could use True VBR but I haven't found the same quality as constrained) Recommended settings for the x264 and x265encoders: 1. The setting x264 uses for partitions changes a little according to whether Main or High Profile is used. I'd use the latter unless I knew I had a reason not to. Whatever I do I always use High quality setting instead of fast, and I always convert from Flac, How To Use Handbrake Tutorial : The BEST Handbrake Settings & Beginners Guide Walkthrough (2020)I noticed an older tutorial on How To Use Handbrake on this c. The 'Normal' Handbrake preset defaults to Main Profile, Level 4.0, whereas the High Profile Preset defaults to High Profile, Level 4.1. I don't know if it is better to upsample or just leave at 44.1khz because of this.Īlbums that I am rating, or are good for detail and total transparantcy I use as high as 96.000hz samplerate ALAC mostly on 24bit, this will give 600mb albums but truly a difference is very much heard, (bowie's darkstar was really a clear star on the 6s 24bit 96khz, so normal 16bit I don't go higher than 48khz If it is 44.1 is where it gets tricky, I have seen that audio apps (synths and such) have trouble if they are not wired to 48.000hz, the reason it seems is that the iphone 6s strickly runs 48khz>. It goes from 51, super damaged, to 0, nearly lossless. As such, it is normal to see high (or even 100) CPU utilisation even when using NVENC. Video decoding (If hardware decoding is turned off or unavailable) These operations all happen in parallel as the job progresses. On the Video Tab, you’ll see a Quality setting. HandBrake supports the NVIDIA NVENC encoder and NVDEC encoder. I have read also that AAC is a much much better format than MP3, Iphone space is always scarse so I convert to AAC 48.000 sample rate lossy VBR 190, sometimes I put it up to 256 but rarely have I heard a huge difference. Handbrake lets you choose encoding settings specifically based on how much quality you want to retain. The reason for this is because otherwise stuff gets confusing. then put folders in there with 44, 48, etc. I have an Iphone 6 and what I do the most is sort out what I want to convert in to folders, first 24bit then 16bit. I use XLD, I tried Handbrake but there seemed to be a reason why I prefered XLD, can't remember but probabably the way it handles alot of files. ![]() ![]() I have done a lot of looking around and it seems that people aren't discussing best options that much.
